S06E10 - HR Rescue: DOL Updates Optional FMLA Forms

 

The US Department of Labor (DOL) has made changes to several of its Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) forms intended to make them simpler and easier to use for employers and employees alike.  The DOL said these and other changes will "reduce the time users spend providing information, improve communications between leave applicants and administrators, and reduce the likelihood of violations."

In this week’s podcast HR expert Jenni Stone shares the key changes to the forms, as well as several notification obligations for both employers and employees under the FMLA.
